La Nuit is a record written with an exalted desire for intimacy. Overwhelmed by the need to experience authentical closeness with his audience, Flagalova breaks here what he always felt like an imposed silence to embrace a new form of expression and transcribes his inner self in an even more genuine way. Employing his own voice to give life to the exquisite harmonies he usually draws with synthesizers only, Silvère discloses himself as someone who is willing to overcome his deepest doubts to materialize the uniqueness that defines him as a human being.

Every elements appearing on those three tracks are made to bring Flagalova nearer to the listener, whether this is the elegant percussions or the candid chords supporting the tender flow of his chant. However, what is particularly striking about the result of this blend is the precarious balance achieved between a confident emotional sincerity and an omnipresent need to please the viewer.

Through the distorting prism of his own eyes, Silvère writes a story where his own person is put under the spotlight to try and establish a connection with people, exclusively concerned by himself, yet completely dedicated to others.
